Writers have to do this

It’s difficult admitting you’re wrong especially online. At one point I was writing on medium every day like clockwork but that soon changed once I started graduate school.

Graduate school is a strange time period requiring periods of intense focus and dedication, but also time periods where you’re free.

I have more time in my hands yet not really.

Due to this, I need to come up with a writing routine. I’ve argued against a writing routine in the past, but I quickly changed my mind.

I decided to follow the system Tim Dunning talked about in one of his articles. Which goes as follows:

  • Write on one day
  • Edit on another day
  • Choose pictures on a lazy Sunday
  • Get feedback from other writers in-between

However, I want to modify this a bit. I will write 3 times a week namely on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday with the goal of hitting 700 words each of those days…
